Navi Mumbai / Dighe: Seven repeaters who had appeared for the SSC examination are finding themselves at the receiving end as the teacher who was assigned with the task of submitting their answer sheets at the SSC board office at Vashi, forgot them in the auto rickshaw she was travelling in.
Officials informed that the teacher, a resident of Airoli, working with the Vivekanand English School at Gavtewadi, Dighe, was taking the checked answer sheets to Vashi board office in an auto rickshaw on 12th March when she lost them. However, the complaint was filed 3 days later, on 15th March.
Police officials informed that the teacher had misplaced seven answer sheets and when she was not able to find them after a 3-day search, she filed a complaint. They said that there was no indication of a foul play and that they had registered a property missing complaint,” he added.
The Mumbai Divisional Board has sought an explanation from the teacher and decide if it was owing to her negligence.
Talking about the results of the exams if the answer sheets were not to be found, the school authorities informed that the students might get the average of the scores they get in other subjects.
