CIDCO releases plots for working women’s hostel and higher education institution in Kharghar and other nodes

CIDCO released a total of 14 plots for working women’s hostels, composite schools and junior colleges and colleges for higher education across several nodes in Navi Mumbai.

Navi Mumbai: Kharghar would soon be getting a working women’s hostel and a higher education institution, thanks to the gesture of the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd. (CIDCO). The development authority recently released fourteen plots under four different schemes in Navi Mumbai.

The plots measure between 858.30 sq. meters and 12,196.40 sq. meters.

The numbers and purposes of the plots located in Nerul, Kharghar, Ulwe and Dronagiri are as follows:

  • 4 plots for working women’s hostels – Kharghar, Ulwe, Koperkhairane and Ghansoli
  • 3 plots for composite schools and junior colleges under one scheme, and 5 plots under another scheme – Sanpada, Dronagiri, Vashi and Ulwe
  • 2 plots for colleges for higher education – Kharghar and Ghansoli.

Dronagiri has the maximum number, with four plots under the general trust scheme and one under the PAP scheme.

Kharghar has a total of two plots, one for a working women’s hostel and another for a higher education institution.

As known, Kharghar is an education hub and another higher education institution will add another feather to its cap.

A working women’s hostel in Kharghar will also be of great purpose for the increasing number of working women in and around the vicinity.

While it will take some time in the making, as the plots are yet to be sold off and development will take a few years, CIDCO’s gesture is appreciated by all.
